AMATS is officially launching a new program called “AMATS Pop-Up Shop”. Beginning today, any previous planning grant recipient is invited to submit a request form to borrow AMATS supplies for a pop-up demonstration project. Pop-up demonstrations use affordable, removable materials to try out street designs on a temporary basis. Materials used include traffic cones, temporary paint, barriers, and planters to demonstrate such implementations as bike lanes, roundabouts, crosswalks, and more. Eligible projects must be a recommendation from a previous planning grant.

AMATS website has a page dedicated to the program with links for the request form as well as a How-To Guide and recipes for temporary installations. For more information on this exciting new program, check out the AMATS website here. Please contact Matt Mullen (extension 4894) or Heather Davis Reidl (extension 4434) at 330-375-2436 for more information.
