Three communities within the Greater Akron area, along with nearly 100 other applicants across the country, applied for the Bicycle Friendly Community (BFC) program through the League of American Bicyclists in June. Locally, the cities of Cuyahoga Falls, Hudson, and Kent are working to make their communities increasingly bike-friendly.
The League of American Bicyclists wants to hear from people who are familiar with biking (or who want to bike) in those communities as part of their review process. A survey regarding bicycle experiences and perceptions was created to gather this important input. Surveys are tailored to each community that applied for BFC designation, so you can submit a survey for your community or for all three. Your comments will help the League and applicant communities to better understand the current bicycling conditions and potential areas for improvement.
Please consider taking a few minutes to provide your valuable feedback and help the cities of Cuyahoga Falls, Hudson, and Kent become more bicycle friendly.
