The recommendations contained in Transportation Outlook represent a culmination of four years of research and study to identify the transportation needs of the Akron metropolitan area. These recommendations help to ensure that the transportation system will continue to remain an efficient and reliable asset between now and 2030.
Transportation Outlook includes highway, public transportation, bicycle and pedestrian recommendations. These recommendations were drawn from a series of reports and through consultation with local officials. While many of the recommendations contained in the Plan are projects, the Plan also includes transportation policy recommendations.
